The Barilla Group has gone 100% cage-free for all its egg supply chains in all the countries in which it operates, after having completed the last transition in the United States, Turkey and Brazil. 

The Parma-based food giant expressed “great satisfaction for the achievement of this goal, a year ahead of its objective. The Barilla Group will only use eggs from free-range farming, in line with its mission ‘Good for you, good for the Planet'”. 

In Barilla products 24 thousand tons of eggs are used every year, coming from almost 2 million hens.
